AKKUYU NUCLEAR POWER PLANT
Developed as Türkiye’s first nuclear power plant, the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant is a strategic energy investment implemented in line with the country's long-term energy security of supply and energy diversification goals. IC İçtaş İnşaat, within the scope of the joint venture it established with TITAN2, undertakes the construction works of nuclear island structures, turbine island structures, auxiliary buildings, hydrotechnical structures, and site infrastructure in accordance with the EPC contract. Holding the distinction of being the first project in the world where four reactors are being built simultaneously, the Akkuyu Nuclear Power Plant involves a multi-disciplinary implementation process that requires engineering in accordance with nuclear facility standards, interdisciplinary coordination, and large-scale site organization.
